Hang on... we're almost there!
Spring is not far off now.
February and March… ugh. Two months that are a little harder than the rest. It’s typically cold, gray, and grimy here in Philadelphia. I struggle a bit not being able to be outside. But, if I were back in Missouri, it would be the same way. Too soon to plant anything in the beds, at least not until the end of April or early May.
So today, I decided to share some images from last year that bring me joy, and frankly, hope. In many of these, I used my little macro lens to get up close and personal. I hope you’ll find joy in these, as I have. Spring really is coming!
If you like gardening as I do, you’ll know how inspiring it is to leaf through the seed catalogs. And luckily, the Philadelphia Flower Show is happening soon. It’s guaranteed to boost my mood.
Have a beautiful week, friends. ✌️💙

You need an NSFW tag, all those images of flora sex organs and all.
(great pics!)
Looking forward to my garden as well. Last year I started a cut flower garden. I love growing my Dutch iris, gladiola, calla, liatris , crocosmia and lots of different lilly cultivars. My stargazer lillies are the best!
What gives me the most joy, however, is giving them away.
