Photo Dump... some random images. 📸
Everybody needs a hobby. Photography is mine. I like experimenting with different ways to look at things. Black & white is still my favorite.

I’m thrilled to say there are now over 3500 members of the Susan Speaks community. 😱 I’ve met some of you personally and feel like I know most of you. This is much more fun than my real job writing advertising copy! THANK YOU for coming along for the ride.
From the moment I held my dad’s Argus C3 in my hands, I was hooked. I’ll never forget loading that film for the first time under his stern eye. God, he was a horrible parent. But he did instill my love of taking pictures. I had the Argus refurbished to like-new condition, no easy task as it was taken completely apart, cleaned, with a new leather cover. And it works!

I’ve been sitting on these images, editing when I need to focus on something else besides American concentration camps and kids dying in floods. Like so many of you, I am really struggling these days with the depravity of the population I live within. It helps to bury my brain into editing shots I’ve taken to see what might be worth sharing. I offer some here.

Religious art always fascinates me…and this three dimensional relief in a church in Tenerife was just stunning. The facial expressions!

I love old cemeteries, always have, either here or abroad. Of course you could guess I adore that pic of the coneflower, such a gorgeous color. Fabulous work all around.
