Bagpipe heavy metal. Who would have thunk? But that got me thinking, who else? Educated guess paid off: AC/DC used bagpipes in “It’s a Long Way to the Top” and Jethro Tull on War Child. But neither had the raw hard rock bagpipe solo of Ally the Piper. Awesome.
Great playlist today! Geoff kills it again. I've heard that Jeff Merkley tune on "Inside Blues", a Sunday evening show on WCBE. The pipes! That puts a smile on this Irishman's face. There are a lot of Celtic rock bands that use the pipes in their music. Loved The Warning! Quite an evolution! The last segment is "Moment of Truth" music. Have a great day!😃😘
