Photo Dump! ๐ธ
No politics today... let me show you images from my archives and some new ones.
Helloooooo new subscribers! ๐ Thanks for joining the Susan Speaks community! In a recent post, I wrote about finding creativity. Hobbies are so good for you! Photography is one of mine. Iโm grateful youโre here, your support means everything!
Digging through my original photos is like finding hidden treasure and reliving moments of my life I had almost forgotten about. Looking at all the pictures Iโve taken reminds me to be very grateful for all Iโve been able to see and doโฆ and the archives prove it.
I see something, quickly imagine what the possibilities are, and take a shot. When I get in front of my laptop, I canโt wait to dump the files into my computer because thatโs when the fun beginsโฆ deciding how to make the image better. Photo editing is such a fluid, fun, and thoughtful process.
Here are some of the images Iโve been working on. ๐ธ
If youโre in Philadelphia, make a point to catch a performance at The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. The architecture is remarkable, and the Philadelphia Orchestra is truly world class.
On a trip to Tucson, our friends took us to San Xavier Del Bac Mission, or the Dove of the Desert. Founded in 1692, itโs Arizonaโs oldest European structure. And it is magnificent. Like a pure beacon of hope in the desert.

Oh, Alaska, how I love you. Full of beauty and surprisesโฆ like Club Paris? On one of the last nights in Anchorage, we went to this old school, supper club type restaurant. Dark, cozy, delicious.
And the Alaskan sunsets? Staggering.
Every image of a cocktail represents a celebration of life and friendships.
And, isnโt the last part of winter is the hardest, waiting for first blooms to pop?
Then summer steps in. Nature shows its OCD in the perfection of echinacea.
Historic cemeteries, full of art, history, meaning. A story behind every stone. Walk through one and youโll see what I mean.

Indulge your interests, friends, and take good care of yourselves. I depend on our online friendship and support as we face an uncertain future.
