Seeing things differently
New images have been added to my SmugMug Portfolio
Sometimes, you have to quit procrastinating, stop waiting for a sign from above, and just do the damned thing. What holds us back? Fear of rejection? Fear of failure? Lack of confidence?
You’re only a failure if you don’t try.
I finally took the step at the urging of several kind subscribers and put a portfolio of my photography efforts together. Since establishing a page, I’ve had a fair bit of traffic and even a SALE! Woo Hoo! 😄
I’m currently using SmugMug as they offer color correction, shipping, and a huge variety of items, options and finishes. Printing my own work is above my pay grade! If you haven’t taken a look yet, please do. Since it went up, I’ve added these new images. As I add new work, I’ll announce it on Susan Speaks.

🔼 I sat next to a gigantic aquarium in an old-school seafood restaurant in Philly called The Clam. (I highly recommend this spot-you will not be disappointed!) Anyway, this little guy literally stared at me the whole time, almost inviting me to take a shot. 🐟

As I begin to make another big move in my life, I’m also looking for ways to make a living. Writing on Substack, writing ad copy, and my photography might be ways to do that. 🤞 Regular Susan Speaks readers may have seen some of these, but now they are available in many different formats. Feel free to share the portfolio with others and stand by for future work… I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy taking them! ❤️

Susan Niemann: You are a real artist with macrophotography. My brother is good at that, so I have seen a lot of precision work with macrophotography.
My goodness, the close up of the dandelion -- you can see each little filament as the wind blows.
Miraculous.
Thank you so much for sharing.
You found a pescatarian camera ham! Your shots of flowers are truly amazing!!😀😀
